Realme, on Wednesday, has launched the Realme Smart SLED TV in India. The TV features a SLED technology that has been developed in collaboration with the chief scientist of the SPD technology, John Rooymans. It has a 55-inch display panel and comes with a 94.6 percent screen-to-body ratio and 9.5mm thin bezels. Realme has also launched the Realme 100W Soundbar in the country.
Realme Smart SLED TV specifications
The Realme Smart SLED TV features a 55-inch 4K Ultra-HD (3840 x 2160 pixels) Cinematic Display with a 178-degree viewing angle, 1.7 billion colors, and HDR 10 support. There are seven display modes, including standard, vivid, sport, movie, game, user, and energy-saving. The TV has a 108 percent NTSC wide color gamut, Chroma Boost Engine, and comes with a TUV Rheinland certification for low blue light emission.
Realme Smart SLED TV is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek quad-core (1.2GHz Cortex-A55) processor paired with Mali-470 MP3 GPU and 16GB of storage. The TV runs Android Pie (9.0) OS out of the box and comes with Chromecast Built-in and preloaded apps, including Netflix, YouTube, and Amazon Prime Video. Uses can also download apps via Google Play Store. The TV is equipped with 24W quad stereo speakers and supports Dolby Audio technology.
Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, three HDMI ports ( one supports ARC), two USB ports, SPDIF, DVB-T2, ethernet, and one headphone jack.
Realme 100W Soundbar specifications
The Realme 100W Soundbar is equipped with two full-range 2.25-inch 15W speakers and two 15W tweeters. It also has a 5.25-inch 40W subwoofer with a 4Ω impedance, and the frequency range is from 50Hz to 24,000Hz. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, coaxial port, optical audio port, Aux-in, HDMI ARC, and a USB port.
Pricing and availability
The Realme Smart SLED TV 55-inch model is priced at Rs. 42,999. However, the TV will be available for an introductory price of Rs. 39,999 during the first sale. The pre-booking of the TV starts from October 16, at noon via Flipkart and Realme India website. The Realme 100W Soundbar cost Rs. 6,999 and will be available to purchase from October 16 via Amazon India, Flipkart, the Realme India website.
