After some recent teasers, Realme has announced the Realme Q2 series of smartphones in China. The series includes three devices with 5G connectivity and MediaTek processors.
Realme Q2 and Q2 Pro specifications
Realme Q2 comes with a 6.5-inch full-HD+ LCD display having 1,080 x 2,400 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 90.7 per cent screen to body ratio. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor, paired with ARM G7 MC3 GPU and up to 6GB of LPDDRx4 RAM and 128GB internal storage which is expandable through microSD card. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
There is a triple rear camera setup including a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. A 16-megapixel selfie camera is housed in a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner of the screen. It is fuelled by a 5,000mAh battery supporting 30W fast charging through USB Type-C port.
The Realme Q2 Pro features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 90.8 per cent screen-to-body ratio. It is also powered by the same Dimensity 800U processor but with the Mali-G57 GPU and 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB storage. The display is integrated with a fingerprint sensor.
It has the same set of rear cameras only the front-facing 16-megapixel camera on the Realme Q2 Pro has an f/2.5 aperture while Realme Q2 aperture was f/2.1. The Realme Q2 Pro is having a smaller 4,300mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. Displays of both devices are protected by Gorilla Glass panels and both run on Realme UI 2.0 based Android 10.
Realme Q2i specifications
The Realme Q2i sports a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with 1,600 X 720 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and 88.7 per cent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage that is expandable via a microSD card.
It packs a triple-camera setup at the back consisting of a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth lens. On the front, you get an 8-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calls. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the back. This handset is having a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
