Realme Narzo 50 5G launched in India with MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, 5,000mAh battery

Realme Narzo 50 5G

At a launch event on Wednesday, Chinese brand Realme has launched the Realme Narzo 50 5G and Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G smartphones along with the TechLife Watch SZ100 smartwatch in India. 

Realme Narzo 50 5G Specifications

The Realme Narzo 50 5G features a 6.6-inch full-HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, 2400×1080 pixels resolution and up to 600 nits of peak brightness.

Under the hood, it has an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor coupled with ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It comes with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage which can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card (dedicated slot). 

There is a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture lens and a monochrome portrait lens. For selfies and video chats, it has an 8-megapixel front camera. 

The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W Dart Charge fast charging support. The fingerprint sensor is side-mounted. It boots Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

Pricing and Availability

The Realme Narzo 50 5G is priced at Rs. 15,999 for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB variant.  Rs. 16,999 for the 4GB + 128GB model and the top variant with 6GB + 128GB storage will cost Rs. 17,999. 

It will be available in Hyper Black and Hyper Blue colour options. The sale for this smartphone will begin at noon on May 24 via Amazon, Realme.com, and authorized retail stores.
