Amazon Prime Video India has announced twenty-one new titles coming on to the platform in September 2021. From India, Mumbai Diaries 26/11, an original series from the Disney+ Hotstar’s The Empire’s creator Nikhil Advani is going to premiere on the platform on September 9. The series explores the dreadful night of 26/11 from a different perspective that hasn’t been explored before as per the creator of the show.
For Ganesh Chaturthi, the platform has snagged a Telugu biggie Tuck Jagadish which stars Nani, Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Jagapathi Babu in lead roles. The family entertainer directed by Shiva Nirvana is scheduled to premiere on September 10. On the same date, the platform is also releasing their thriller film The Voyeurs starring Sydney Sweeney, Justice Smith, Natasha Liu, Bordizzo, and Ben Hardy.
The platform is coming up with a new take on the classic fairy tale Cinderella adapting the story to modern audiences. The romantic musical comedy directed by Kay Cannon stars Camila Cabello as Cinderella, Idina Menzel as Vivian, Billy Porter as the genderless fairy godparent Fab G, and Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Robert among others. The film is set to premiere on September 3. Premiering on September 17 is Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, a coming-of-age musical-dramedy in which the titular 16-year-old Jamie dreams of becoming a drag queen.
