Poco X4 Pro 5G launched in India with Snapdragon 695 SoC and 120Hz display

Poco has officially launched the Poco X4 Pro 5G in India on Monday as the latest model in the Poco X series. This smartphone was first announced a few weeks back at MWC 2022 and it is a successor to the Poco X3 Pro 5G which was launched last year in the country. 

Specifications

The Poco X4 Pro 5G features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 1,080 x 2,400 pixels resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, and 360Hz touch sampling rate. It also has 1200nits peak brightness, DCI-P3 colour gamut and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. 

Under the hood, the handset has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC and Adreno 619 GPU paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of onboard UFS 2.2 storage which is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card.

There is a triple camera setup on the back consisting of a 64-megapixel ISOCELL GW3 primary sensor with an LED flash and an f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro unit with f/24 aperture. 

On the front side, a 16-megapixel snapper is present with an f/2.4 aperture. This smartphone is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster, and dual stereo speakers. It runs on Android 11 based MIUI 13 custom skin. 

The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support and weighs 205 grams. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Pricing and Availability

The Poco X4 Pro 5G is priced at Rs. 18,999 for the base 6GB RAM + 64GB storage option. The 6GB + 128GB model carries a price tag of Rs. 19,999 and the top variant with an 8GB + 128GB configuration will cost Rs. 21,999. It comes in Laser Black, Laser Blue, and Poco Yellow colours. The sale of Poco X4 Pro 5G will begin on April 5 through Flipkart.

As a launch offer, buyers will get a flat Rs. 1,000 instant discount on making payment through an HDFC Bank card or credit EMI while the existing Poco X2, Poco X3, and Poco X3 Pro users can get an additional exchange value of up to Rs. 3,000 for this smartphone.
