Poco, on Tuesday, has launched the Poco M2 Pro smartphone in India. The smartphone comes in Green and Greener, Out of the Blue, and Two Shades of Black color options.

The Poco M2 Pro features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) 20:9 aspect ratio IPS display with brightness up to 450 nits and HDR10 support. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G (8 nm) chipset paired with Adreno 618 GPU, up to 6GB of LPDDR4X dual-channel memory, and up to 128GB of internal storage. It also supports MicroSD cards of up to 512GB. The device runs MIUI 11 based on Android 10 OS out of the box.
Poco M2 Pro sports a quad-rear camera setup of 48 MP f/1.79 primary sensor, 8 MP f/2.2 119-degree ultrawide angle lens, 5 MP f/2.4 macro camera, and 2 MP f/2.4 depth sensor. The rear cameras support HDR, panorama mode, burst mode, face recognition, AI beauty, portrait mode with background blur, dual-pixel autofocus, single-tone flash, low light enhancement, EIS for video recording, and AI dirt detection.
The rear cameras also support 720p and 1080p slow-motion video recording at 240fps. On the front, the phone has a 16 MP f/2.5 camera on the punch-hole display. It supports face recognition, night mode, HDR, selfie timer, AI portrait mode, and short video.
The Poco M2 Pro comes with a non-removable 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging technology. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G VoLTE, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors included are ambient light, gyroscope, accelerometer, electronic compass, proximity, hall sensor, and side-mounted fingerprint reader.
Pricing and availability
The Poco M2 Pro 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 13,999, while the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant cost Rs. 14,999. The top variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs. 16,999. The first sale of the Poco M2 Pro smartphone is scheduled for July 14, 2020, at noon via Flipkart.
