Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus is set to launch an affordable smartphone, OnePlus Nord in India, on July 21 at 7:30 PM IST. According to a dedicated teaser page on Amazon, the smartphone will be available for pre-order starting July 15, 2020. Customers pre-ordering the device will also get benefits worth Rs. 5,000.
Ahead of its official launch, the phone has been listed on a Romanian e-commerce website called evoMAG.ro. As per the website, the OnePlus Nord will feature 6.55-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G (7 nm) chipset paired with Adreno 620 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage.
The OnePlus Nord is tipped to come with a triple rear camera setup of 64 MP f/2.0 primary sensor, 16 MP f/2.2 116-degree ultrawide angle lens, and 2 MP f/2.4 macro camera. For taking selfies, the phone may feature a dual-camera setup of 32 MP f/2.0 primary sensor and 8 MP f/2.2 ultrawide angle lens. The phone will come with a non-removable 4300mAh battery that will support 30W fast charging technology.
Connectivity options will be included are dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, 4G VoLTE, and USB Type-C port for charging and USB On-The-Go. Sensors will be included are proximity, compass, accelerometer, gyroscope, and an optical fingerprint reader. The phone will run Android 10 OS out of the box.
The online listing also suggests that the OnePlus Nord 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant will be available for RON 2,229.99 (around Rs. 39,000).
