HMD Global has launched the Nokia C31 smartphone in India. The phone features a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS display, octa-core Unisoc SC9863A1 SoC, triple rear cameras, 5050mAh battery, IP52 water resistance rating, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and runs on the Android 12 operating system out of the box. The company also promises to deliver two years of quarterly security updates.

The Nokia C31 features a 6.7-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) IPS display with 2.5D toughened glass and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by an octa-core Unisoc SC9863A1 chipset paired with IMG8322 GPU, up to 4GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of onboard storage. It also supports a microSD card of up to 256GB via a dedicated slot for expandable storage.
In terms of optics, the Nokia C31 sports a triple rear camera setup of a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For taking selfies and making video calls, the phone has a 5-megapixel camera on the front. Camera features include portrait mode, HDR, and night mode. The phone is equipped with a non-removable 5050mAh battery that supports 10W wired charging.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth version 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS/ Galileo, 4G VoLTE, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Micro USB 2.0 port for charging and OTG. Sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light, proximity, and a rear-mounted fingerprint reader. Lastly, the phone measures 169.2 x 77.98 x 8.6 mm and weighs 200 grams.

The Nokia C31 costs Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, while the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model is priced at Rs. 10,999. The phone comes in Charcoal, Mint, and Cyan color options. Nokia C31 is available to purchase via Nokia.com and retail outlets in the country starting today.
