Airtel 5G Plus

Indian telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has announced the launch of its 5G Plus services in Lucknow. According to Airtel, the 5G Plus services will be “available to customers in a phased manner as the company continues to construct its network and complete the rollout.” The Airtel 5G Plus services are also available in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Siliguri, Nagpur, Varanasi, Panipat, Gurugram, Patna, and Guwahati.

“I am thrilled to announce the launch of Airtel 5G Plus in Lucknow. Airtel customers can now experience ultrafast networks and enjoy speeds up to 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds. We are in the process of lighting up the entire city which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos, and more,” said Sovan Mukherjee, CEO of Bharti Airtel, Uttar Pradesh.

In Lucknow, the Airtel 5G Plus services are currently live at Gomti Nagar, Hazratganj, Aliganj, Aishbag, Rajajipuram, Aminabad, Jankipuram, Alambagh, Vikas Nagar, and a few other select locations. The company will expand its 5G networks across the city gradually.

Airtel 5G Plus services will allow users to access high-definition video streaming, gaming, instant photo upload, multiple chatting, and more. Further, the company believes that with the launch of Airtel 5G Plus services, India will get a fillip to economic growth as Airtel 5G Plus revolutionizes education, healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture, mobility, and logistics.

Airtel customers with 5G handsets can avail of Airtel 5G Plus services on their existing data plans until the rollout is complete. No SIM card change is required to enjoy the Airtel 5G Plus services.
