Motorola has launched the Moto G82 5G smartphone in India on Tuesday. The phone features a 120Hz AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, triple rear cameras, 5G connectivity with 11 band support, and runs Android 12 OS out of the box. The company has promised to deliver at least one major Android upgrade and three years of security updates.

Moto G82 5G features a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G (6 nm) chipset paired with Adreno 619 GPU, up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. It also includes a dedicated microSD card slot (supports up to 1TB) for expandable storage.
Moto G82 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel 118-degree ultrawide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 macro sensor. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture lens. The phone is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging technology.
Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth version 5.1, 5G SA/ NSA, 4G VoLTE, GPS/ A-GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, magnetometer, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Lastly, the phone measures 160.89 x 74.46 x 7.99 mm and weighs 173 grams.
Pricing and availability
Moto G82 5G is priced at Rs. 21,499 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model costs Rs. 22,999. The phone comes in Meteorite Gray and White Lily color options and will be available to purchase through Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and select retail stores in the country starting June 14, 2022. Launch offer includes Rs. 1,500 instant discount for customers buying the phone using SBI credit cards. Reliance Jio customers will also receive benefits worth Rs. 5,049.
