Motorola has launched the Moto G73 5G smartphone in India. The phone features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ display, MediaTek Dimensity 930 SoC, 8GB of RAM, 5000mAh battery, dual-rear cameras, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication, and runs on the Android 13 operating system out of the box. Further, the Moto G73 5G is IP52 rated for dust and splash resistance.

The Motorola Moto G73 5G features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (2400 x 1080 Pixels) IPS display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 930 (6nm) paired with IMG BXM-8-256 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of onboard storage. It also supports a microSD card for expandable storage but uses a shared SIM slot.
Moto G73 5G sports a dual rear camera setup of a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8-megapixel 118-degree ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture. For taking selfies and making video calls, the phone has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone is equipped with a non-removable 5000mAh battery that supports TurboPower 30W fast charging technology.
Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging and OTG. Sensors include an accelerometer, magnetometer, proximity, ambient light, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Lastly, the phone measures 161.42 x 73.84 x 8.29mm and weighs 181 grams.
Pricing and availability
The Moto G73 5G is priced at Rs. 18,999 for the sole 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The phone comes in Midnight Blue and Lucent White color options and will be available via Flipkart and select retail stores in India starting March 16, 2023. Customers can get an additional discount of Rs. 2,000 for purchasing the phone using select bank cards. No-cost EMI options are also available from HDFC, ICICI, SBI, and AXIS Bank, which start at Rs. 3,167.
