Hathway Cable and Datacom on Thursday reported its quarterly financial reports for the quarter ending March 31, 2020. Hathway’s broadband business posted a profit of Rs 1.24 crores in Q4 FY 20.
Hathway’s broadband business posted a segment revenue of Rs 151.32 crores in Q4 FY 20, up from Rs 143.20 crores in Q3 FY 20. Q4 revenue rose by Rs 8.12 crores or 5.67% Q-o-Q. Q4 FY 20 revenue rose from Rs 132.43 crores in Q4 FY 19 to Rs 151.32 crores registering a rise of Rs 18.89 crores at 14.26% Y-o-Y.
FY 20 revenue stood at Rs 567.69 crores, up from Rs 527.63 crores in FY 19. The revenue rose by Rs 40.06 crores at 7.59% Y-o-Y.
The broadband business posted a profit of Rs 1.24 crores in Q4 FY 20 as compared to a loss of Rs 5.82 crores in the preceding quarter. In Q4 FY 19 Hathway broadband had posted a loss of Rs 18.11 crores.
Hathway registered a loss of Rs 20.54 crores in FY 20 as against a profit of Rs 42.01 crores in FY 19.
Hathway’s broadband business assets are valued at Rs 3,988.41 crores at the end of FY 20, up from Rs 1,044.84 crores valuation at the end of FY 19. The liabilities of the broadband business have also increased simultaneously. Hathway’s broadband business liabilities in FY 19 stood at Rs 1.135.57 crores, up from Rs 267.76 crores in FY 19.
