Google has launched the Pixel 7a and Pixel Fold devices at the Google I/O 2023 event. The Google Pixel 7a features a 6.1-inch OLED display, while the Pixel Fold comes with a 5.8-inch external display and 7.6-inch inner display. Both devices run on the Android 13 operating system out of the box.

The Google Pixel 7a features a 6.1-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) OLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, and HDR support. The phone is powered by the Google Tensor G2 chipset paired with Titan M2 security chip, 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage.
In terms of optics, the Pixel 7a sports a dual rear camera setup of a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.89 aperture and a 13-megapixel 120-degree ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. The rear cameras support portrait mode, motion autofocus, live HDR+, cinematic pan, panorama, and more. For taking selfies and making video calls, the phone has a 13-megapixel front camera with an f/2.2 aperture lens.
Google Pixel 7a is equipped with a non-removable 4385mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging technology. The external display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The internal display of the Pixel Fold comes with a 7.6-inch (1840 x 2208 pixels) OLED display with a 6:5 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1450 nits of peak brightness. It is equipped with Ultra Thin Glass with a protective plastic layer. The device is powered by a Google Tensor G2 processor paired with a Titan M2 security chip, 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage.
Google Pixel Fold comes with a triple rear camera setup of a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 10.8-megapixel 121-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture. It also has a 10.8-megapixel telephoto sensor with f/3.05 aperture and 5x optical zoom. On the front, the device has a 9.5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The device packs a non-removable 4821mAh battery that supports 30W wired fast charging technology.

Pricing and availability
The Google Pixel 7a is priced at Rs. 43,999 for the sole 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The phone comes in Charcoal, Sea, and Snow color options and is available to purchase via Flipkart in India.
In contrast, the Pixel Fold is priced at USD 1799 (Rs. 1,47,410 approx.) for the 256GB storage variant, while the 512GB storage model costs USD 1919 (Rs. 1,57,240 approx.). It comes in Porcelain and Obsidian color options and is currently available to order in the US. Google is expected to roll out the Pixel Fold in other markets soon.
