State-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the bundling of EROS Now with STV 247 and PV429 which allow BSNL customers on these plans to access the entire library of EROS Now. BSNL has separately withdrawn EROS Now 78 prepaid plan along with multiple other Plan Vouchers and Special Tariff Vouchers.
The bundling of EROS Now with BSNL plans and the withdrawal of multiple plan vouchers and special tariff vouchers was intimated by BSNL Chennai through a tweet on Thursday night.
EROS Now bundled with STV 247 and PV 429
BSNL has bundled BSNL Tunes and EROS Now with STV 247 effective today. The plan will now allow BSNL customers to access the entire library of EROS Now. Separately, under the promotional offer on the occasion of 74th Independence Day, BSNL has bundled EROS Now with PV 429.
The customers on both the plans will be given the username and password details with the download link to the EROS Now application through SMS. BSNL customers can access the entire library of EROS Now after logging in.
The activation of PV 429 through self-care will however not provide EROS Now Entertainment services.
Withdrawal of multiple PVs/STVs
BSNL has withdrawn EROS Now 78 prepaid plan which offered 8 days of validity, unlimited data upto 3GB/day followed by 80kbps speed, unlimited voice calling, and EROS Now Entertainment Services.
BSNL has also withdrawn STV 551 which offered 5GB/day with a validity of 90 days. STV 349 which offered 64 days validity with unlimited voice calling, 1GB/day, and 100 SMS/day has also been culled. STV 447 which offered 84 days validity with unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS/day, unlimited data with speed reduced to 40 Kbps after 1GB/day + Free PRBT.
Patanjali plan which has three variants at Rs 144, Rs 792, and Rs 1584 has also been discontinued allowing existing customers to recharge with any plan voucher on offer.
