The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) last week allocated numbering level to Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited for Basic services in two different SDCA’s. The telecom service provider has been allocated the numbering level for Nizamabad SDCA and Kurnool SDCA.

The Telecom Department made the allocation of the numbering level on 21st January 2022 in consideration of the request of Reliance Jio. The telecom service provider has been allocated level ’31’ for wireline services for Nizamabad SDCA, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh LSA.

Similarly, the telecom service provider has also been allocated level ’31’ for wireline services for Kurnoll SDCA in Andhra Pradesh LSA. Both the numbering level allocations by the Telecom Department are to be used for Basic services by Reliance Jio.

The Telecom Department last week also allocated fresh MSC codes for mobile services to Reliance Jio in four telecom circles namely Odisha, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Assam.
