India’s leading telecom service provider Reliance Jio last week received the allotment of fresh MSC codes for mobile services from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT). The Telecom Department has allocated MSC codes to Reliance Jio in four telecom circles in consideration of the requests of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited.
Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited has been allotted ACCESS-MSC code for Odisha, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Assam telecom circles. The ACCESS-MSC code allocation will help the telecom service provider meet the demand of one million subscribers each.
In Odisha, RJIL has been allocated ACCESS-MSC code 92370-92379. In Rajasthan, RJIL has been allocated ACCESS-MSC code 92510-92519. In Haryana, RJIL has been allocated ACCESS-MSC code 92540-92549. In Assam, RJIL has been allocated ACCESS-MSC code 92870-92879.
The aforementioned MSC code series allocated to Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited for mobile services can be used by the telecom service provider except for the ported out subscribers (if any) of Tata Teleservices Limited.
