Dixon Technologies India today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Motorola for the manufacturing of its smartphones in India. As part of the agreement, Dixon Technologies wholly owned subsidiary Padget Electronics will be manufacturing smartphones for Motorola Mobility. The smartphones will be manufactured at Padget Electronics’ manufacturing facility situated in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

Dixon’s wholly owned subsidiary Paget Electronics had earlier received PLI scheme approval from the Government of India aimed at boosting electronics manufacturing sector in the country. Dixon manufactures a range of things from consumer durables, lighting, mobile phones/ smart phones among other things.
