Discovery Plus bringing 5 exclusive titles in the month of July

Discovery Communication India’s Over the Top (OTT) platform Discovery Plus is expanding its content portfolio by bringing 5 new titles this July for its viewers.  

Three episodes of ‘Tales of Valour’ will be added on Discovery Plus on July 20th. The show is for military enthusiasts. Curated and narrated by one of India’s foremost military experts, Maroof Raza, it presents factual documentaries, showcasing 12 stories of valour, which are unknown to most Indians.​ 

‘Covid-19: India’s War Against The Virus’ will be premiered on the platform on July 16th in 7 languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Bengali. This will be the 4th Covid-19 documentary to be added on Discovery Plus. It follows both, the global and the Indian timeline of how the novel Coronavirus spread and shines a light on key developments that have taken place ever since India’s first Coronavirus victim was detected in Kerala. Bollywood star Manoj Bajpayee has provided the Hindi voiceover for this documentary and the Tamil voiceover is by celebrated writer, director, actor Gautham Vasudev Menon.

Next up on the list is ‘Project Runway S18’ for fashion aficionados. The entire season will be available on Discovery Plus to binge-watch as sixteen​ new hopefuls fight it out to take the runway by storm and make fashion history.​ Host​ Karlie Kloss​ is back in this season​ along with Christian Siriano​ as the mentor and returning​ judges​ Nina Garcia,​ Brandon Maxwell,​ and​ Elaine Welteroth.

Starting July 27th, 3 episodes from ‘Expedition Unknown – Season 6′, will be added on Discovery Plus. ‘Exhibition Unknown’ chronicles Josh Gate’s global adventures as he investigates iconic unsolved events, lost cities, buried treasures and other puzzling stories in this brand-new season.

‘Richard Hammond’s BIG’ episodes are available on Discovery Plus from July 6th. In this show, Richard Hammond is going behind-the-scenes of the largest structures and machines around the world to understand the science behind them with a series of experiments. He goes to a new location and megastructure in each episode, where he meets the unsung heroes at the front line and understands how engineers go about building, maintaining and using these superstructures.
