Ahead of the launch of the flagship of the year -- OnePlus 5 -- the company CEO Pete Lau has confirmed that OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T will get Android O update. However he didn't mention the timeline for the update, which is actually understandable given the fact that the Android O is yet to be released by Google. Both the OnePlus 3 and 3T were announced last year with Android M operating system, and now with the coming of the new software, we are sure that the flagship phones will get major upgrades.

Pete Lau on Wednesday tweeted about the coming of Android O to last year's OnePlus flagship phones, both OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. "A lot of you have been asking, so I'm proud to say Android O will come to OnePlus 3 and 3T," he says. Hearing this, some OnePlus fans were overwhelmed, however, there were some who were disappointed of OnePlus 2 not getting the latest Android update.
