I'm talking about the security deposit. I guess you should have paid 2500 (1500+1000) as security deposit and got router and stb.

I paid only 1500 as security deposit and will be getting just a router and not stb as I've opted for 699 plan. If I upgrade later to any plan from 999 and above, will they be asking 1000 extra as security deposit for stb or can I continue without STB in 999 Plan as per its plan speed with out stb and OTT. Hope I'm clear.
You will be able to take any plan with only router. But you are the looser in that case. They will not provide any discount for not using OTT apps.

If you are only interested in broadband, 100 mbps, 3300 GB per month is more than sufficient IMO. (That's the ₹699 plan).
They won't ask ₹1,000 extra if you upgrade to higher plans.

The reason for not opting for stb with OTT apps is that I've individual subscriptions for Hotstar Premium, Amazon Prime, Netflix 4K Plan. These are the only ones we watch at home mostly. We watch them either Apple TV 4K box or Airtel Xstream stb or LG TV.

Then no point going for 999 or above plans

If I were you, would have gone for ₹399 plan as it's sufficient for most of the stuff. Hardly there are few videos which are 4K. Even then 30 mbps is more than enough as 4K videos may take up to 16 mbps and you are left with sufficient bandwidth for other activities

I actually wanted to go for 399 plan only. The Jio representative asked me to go for 699 since its free for first 30 days and I can change it to 399 at the end of 30 day period.

Any option to get a landline number of our choice (say last 4 digits) for the landline offered along with Jio Fiber connection.

Anyone having old Silver plan and getting 150 Mbps speed? Also please check in the MyJio app that what data is being used up currently, old plan, any other voucher or the Unlimited voucher?

Note: I'm having old Silver plan, getting symmetrical DL/UL speeds. But not getting more than 100 Mbps speed (over WiFi not more than 40 Mbps) as maybe I'm currently on the old data voucher. Also I'm having a single band router so just raised complaint, engineer visiting today.
