The remote has two dedicated buttons one for Disney+ Hotatar another for Jio Cinema. Now that both have merged, this could have been the first Smart TV to be launched with a dedicated button for JioHotstar and the other button could have been used for Prime video instead.

This being a forked Android OS doesn't even have Google play store, otherwise one could install button remaper to assign another app to the remote button.

Also Jio should roll out this new OS to all the existing Jio STBs asap to maintain same features and proper standards across all of them having same firmware at the same time. Unlike now with different stb models and software builds. And for god sake they should bring a solution to JioTv+ redirecting method. Its too irritating to use.

Jio Cinema is also redirecting app, they should shut this app immediately, otherwise all of us called Jio as redirector. :ROFLMAO:

Once the IPTV service is rolled out through the live TV tab, the Jio Tv+ service providing free access to live channels through respective OTTs will be shut. You will get relief from the redirection and will have DTH style channel switching but it won't be free.

Jiostar's pay channels(100+) can bundle with Jiofiber (599+plans) in iptv like Airtel's Rs.350/-worth of dth/iptv complimentary.

Not only Jiostar channels they can provide other channels similar to Airtel. As Airtel's plans pricing are also same as Jio except a couple. If Airtel can do Jio can also do.
