Star sports pre & post match presentation also poor.not picture quality like Sony.

IPL took a bit from every successful sports league and has made it a Khichdi.The so called strategic breaks which have been obviously enforced to give more AD time just kills the momentum of the game.Moreover,unless there is some sort of rivalry developing between the franchises it would be very difficult for IPL to maintain the same success over a period of time.The likes of Liverpool-Man Utd,North London derby etc just adds a bit more to the football match between the teams.Here there is so much bonhomie between the teams and the respective supporters that it is extremely difficult to add anything else to a cricket match.

I can not say how are the matches since I am not watching IPL also have un subscribed all star channels except select 2.
I just know the results from this forum only

This year IPL has been vry well balanced n top class in quality with All team equally strong n weak..
No Monopoly of Any so called Big teams like it used to be in last 10 years Ipl.. except CSK n MI All other 8 teams are fighting hard to reach playoffs..we are seeing huge competition frm each n every team. not just between top 3-4 teams like earlier ipl seasons..
this ipl has finally ended Monopoly of Top 2 branded TEAMS.. n we will finally see New IPL champion after many years..
So There is No drop in standard of game or quality issues in IPL matches.. it is Star only to blame here for ipl not getting good ratings.

VK and MSD quit from captaincy was the one of main reason to drop rating of IPL. Though MSD become older but People missing the Josh and activity from young VK this year . jadeja or Du-plesis can't equal the charismatic energy of Dhoni or Kohli.
