Then there won't be Team loyalty from Viewers. Many people support teams because of the players, Like RCB gets some of the support because just because of VK.

Take Mumbai:
Pollard and Malinga were in the auctions.
Bumrah, Hardik, Krunal were discovered by Mumbai and it would be absolutely unfair to Mumbai
So for MI only Rohit is the player they have truly retained.

Simple solution: Those teams who want the same players in their team can bid and pick them up in the auction.
Whats happening instead is these teams are getting these players for a value far lesser.

The margin of victory was in millimeters like Dhoni's runout. Gotta feel for Watson though, he rode his luck today, couldn't finish it in the end!
