Rising Pune Supergiants have roped in South Africa leg-spinner Imran Tahir as a replacement for Australian allrounder Mitchell Marsh for the upcoming 10th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The 37-year-old Pakistan-born leg-spinner had gone unsold during the auction on February 20 in Bengaluru.

IPL: Enforcement Directorate issues notice to SRK, Gauri, Juhi Chawla for Rs 73 crore violation under FEMA

The Enforcement Directorate Friday issued a show-cause notice to actor Shah Rukh Khan, his wife Gauri, actor-friend Juhi Chawla and others for alleged loss of Rs 73.6 crore foreign exchange in a FEMA case related to the T-20 cricket league IPL. The agency said it has also issued notice to Knight Riders Sports Private Limited (KRSPL) which owns the Indian Premier League (IPL) team of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

The notice has been issued for the sale of some shares of KRSPL to a Mauritius-based firm at a cost lower than their “actual value”, resulting in loss of foreign exchange to the extent of Rs 73.6 crore.

Possibly nobody would have ever thought that an IPL ticket could be as expensive as Rs 37000. After the official website takes you to liveinstyle.com you could see cost of tickets of various stands. When you move your search to the ‘Gionee-P2’ stand, from where you could get the best view of the match with best facilities, it shows “INR 37000”. In the same section, one ticket in the ‘Kingfisher-P-Corporate’ stand is available at the rate of Rs 19,000.

Meanwhile, in another website corp.xoxoday.com, the same ticket for RCB and Kolkata Knight Riders matches is available at a slightly expensive rate of Rs 41500.

At the same time, Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Lions kept their VIP ticket’s price Rs 8000 while KKR kept it at Rs 6000.
