In the wake of yatra calls given by various Hindu groups for Monday, the Haryana Government has ordered the suspension of all mobile internet services in Nuh district from 6 pm till the same time on July 22. At least six people died after communal clashes erupted during the same yatra last year.
The notification said that on earlier such occasions, it has been seen that "some unscrupulous elements resorted to unfair means using different mobile applications"

The Jharkhand government has decided to impose a blanket ban on internet services across the state to prevent unfair practices in the Jharkhand General Graduate Level Combined Competitive Examination (JGGLCCE).
