This is non acceptable point.. India is not a Hindu Nation.. Its a Secular State.

According to the 42nd amendment act of Constitution in 1976, India is a secular state. This means that all the religions currently present in the country are treated with equal respect and integrity and the law is neither favourable or unfavourable towards a particular religion. So, India is not a Hindu nation.

Hindustan is derived from the Persian word Hindū cognate with the Sanskrit Sindhu. the Sanskrit suffix -stān was added, indicative of a country or region, forming the present word Hindūstān. Thus, Sindh was referred to as Hindūstān

42nd Amendment was a act passed during emergency when judiciary was suspended and fundamental rights suspended. Position leaders jailed and amended passed without taking into consideration other factors.

The original constitution which was adopted in 1950 didn't have secular world mentioned ad Ambedkar knew it would be used as a tool.
