Seven New Malware Apps On Google Play
Researchers at Wandera have discovered another set of malicious apps on the Google Play Store. The threat research team at the London-based security firm recently caught seven Google Play apps that contained "dropper malware".
The seven newly discovered malicious Android apps include Magnifying Glass and Super Bright LED Flashlight by a developer named PumpApp, Magnifier, Magnifying Glass with Flashlight and Super-bright Flashlight by LizotMitis, and Alarm Clock, Calculator and Free Magnifying Glass by iSoft LLC.
