I watch on Star Sports 1HD (on TataSky) and Hotstar-Premium (through Jio STB) and kept switching between the two.

Hotstar:
1080p but 25fps
I could rewind upto 15 mins
I could change commentary language (including dugout)
Colors were on par with starsports. Minor compression artifacts (tearing) were visible in fast moving shots.

StarSports:
1080i but 30fps

Closing remarks:
Hotstar has better resolution but poor framerate. Star Sports has better framerate but relatively poor resolution.
I personally prefer framerate over resolution.

What is your opinion?

It normal due to latency in transmission
