Better to get Covaxin if available in your area, this will help you get fully vaccinated in just 30 days. Sputnik is not available and situation is going to remain same even for few more months.

I got my second dose of Covishield today, paid 780*2 to get myself and wife to get fully vaccinated. No free shots available in Telangana for almost a month, don't know where the free doses given by central government is going.

Cowin portal is waste bro,it is not showing all the centers,and available vaccine slots.
In Telangana every dedicated vaccination centers are giving free vaccine but not showing in COWIN,I don't know why.
In private centers or government centers if u visit personally u will know the situation.
Iam also waited a lot for vaccine, but when I contacted hospital directly they said vaccines r available.
Situation is same in AP also, I think state governments created seperate app for vaccines.
Hope it helps who r waiting for their shot.

Why should states create new platform if cowin is already there, sheer waste of money and effort. And, not sure what you mean by cowin is waste as I don't see any issues.

It's state government's responsibility to update the cowin portal with vaccine availability. All private hospital's status is updated but nothing for govt so either it's carelessness or intentional move to benefit the Pvt hospital.

I tried checking Google to find if state government created any new app or site but couldn't find it.

Why I said Cowin portal is waste because if u rely on it for slot u can't get ur Jab or it will be delayed,as govt or private most of them are not updating on it.
I share my experience here, I waited a lot for my vaccine.The hospital in Hyderabad where I got my first dose showing only Covaxin with 0 slots on Cowin,but when I went personally they r giving all the 3 vaccines.
I got my second dose in AP, this time the hospital not even on Cowin since months.both r private hospitals.

very few pvt. hospitals updating their slots genuinely in hyd.
Here I got one more doubt r they really giving vaccine or Saline water.
People should know the vaccine availability or hospitals must be under control by seperate committee or body in this critical time.

There is one app called TS VACCINE in Telangana,only available for employees who r in covid vaccine duty.
 
Something is wrong with CoWin app. Was looking for slot couple of days back. All paid center were listed. Despite having 3 free centres available at walking distance from my house among which 2 are government run with free slots.
