We are already facing limited supply of raw material from US so it might be difficult.
Honestly the execuses like this are really baffling. Bro. We have literally 1.3 billion people. We need around 2 billion of dosage atleast to achieve herd immunity. That's a huge number and our government should have seen it in advance. They should have secured the supply chain before anything else. We had 1 year before all this vaccinations started. It just shows we lack any vision. Be it short term or long term. Government is completely useless.

Let's take only a positive approach!

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla said people will “likely” need a booster dose of a Covid-19 vaccine within 12 months of getting fully vaccinated. His comments were made public Thursday but were taped April 1.

Bourla said it’s possible people will need to get vaccinated against the coronavirus annually.

“A likely scenario is that there will be likely a need for a third dose, somewhere between six and 12 months and then from there, there will be an annual revaccination, but all of that needs to be confirmed. And again, the variants will play a key role,” he told CNBC’s Bertha Coombs during an event with CVS Health.

Perpetual money making scheme. 👍

Normally I would agree. But with virus mutating at fast pace. Annual shot doesn't sound like a bad idea.
For how many years exactly? For Country like India, 2 billion doses are needed a year. That's too much. Imagine paying 1000 every year for vaccination.

Until virus naturally disappears. Vaccination is the only way to run the current economy. We can't afford many lockdowns a year.

Rs 1000 is a small amount actually. Vaccine is the only hope as of now to fight off the virus as @iDJ bros says.

Lockdown as a whole for the nation or a state is not right keeping in mind the economy and GDP, etc. Mini lockdowns in an area or locality is a proper to get it under control.
