One thing I forgot to mention earlier that Airtel Fiber home connection (FTTH) cable quality is way better compared to Jio Fiber FTTH cable. JioFiber cable is very thin that the fiber inside can easily break when it's bent. Airtel has provided good protective layers outside so it helps.
Airtel uses two kinds of OFC cables for FTTH.
1) Outdoor Cable - The one which you have in the first pic.
2) Indoor cable - It will be the same thin cable that Jio uses but it will be in white color.
Basically airtel's outdoor cable is indoor cable + extra weather protection layers. If you cut and sleeve it that white indoor cable will be visible.
Airtel seem to be providing better quality face plate (patch box) compared to JioFiber face plate. In fact, JioFiber has removed this tiny white box on new connections, maybe to cut costs further.
It has a nice open/close shutter near the connector that can protect the fiber cable from getting into direct dust contact.
Yeah. These technicians save materials from customers then sell or use it elsewhere against money.
In my connection maximum 30-35 mtrs fiber cable was used but the technician filled 70 mtrs consumed in the Airtel app. Rest of the cable he got apparently.

Actually they don't care about materials if it's under limit. When I had copper VDSL, I asked them to keep some slack if I changed the router position. But instead installer said it doesn't cost them anything and so he rolled up around 50m of cable for slack when I only needed like 10m.
Even with fiber when I moved my connection, I gave old patch cable to them as it was perfectly fine. They said they didn't need it and told me to keep it. They used a brand new one. As they didn't want any issue with the installation.
Installer only care about saving time and will do jugad only if they don't have time or the materials on hand. They probably just estimated the length of the cable wrongly. Or they write extra in app so they can use for other connection where it might go over the limit.
Alright alright alright! Congratulations Bapun brother. This router seems familiar though, yes its the zyxcel sercomm crossover. Will work fine mostly but yes do shift to some better option as and when available However slick move getting the service person deliver 1gbps plan wala router

Thank you, bro! The best part of this ONT is it has wifi 6 so the wifi network feels familiar to my TP Link Deco Mesh extenders (as those also have wifi 6) which are currently connected to JioFiber. The range is also better than my JioFiber ONT.
The ONT looks visually modern, unlike the rest of the Airtel Fiber ONT due to no visible antennas. Physically this ONT shape is similar to JioFiber ONT.
Initially, I was underestimating this ONT based on the internet user feedback but so far I am liking it because of the above-cited reasons.
