Are you reaching to conclusion on your own that Airtel is terrible in LCO cities or do you have any evidence?

As discussed earlier in another thread, Airtel has strict control over LCO, unlike other LCO-managed ISPs.

Yesterday only the installer who installed my connection mentioned that Airtel penalize LCO if an area or the mainline is down for more than an hour.
This is happening where Airtel has taken bandwidth from smaller FTTH players and doing LCO thing. It's not at all good experience so far since last two years in Maharashtra. People have shifted to BSNL FTTH after paying huge amount for installation.

Thanks. So, for the most part, JioFiber is having better ping than Airtel Fiber for you - and even after that, browsing experience is better. 😂 Amazing Jio! Guess their DPI tech is the reason behind it. 🤔
Ping is an issue on Airtel in East India atleast. Comparatively Jio can be better in certain cases. Local options might be best choice in certain cities/towns. I used to play a few games with servers in Mumbai and pings were worst on Airtel so I had to leave their connection.
Weird how Airtel is giving 25 ms to Dhaka but 53ms to Mumbai. Is it same for other Mumbai servers too? Try testing few in Speed test app when you're free.
I believe @Bapun lives in WB or around this place so pings are better to Dhaka due to direct connection to them via the border. Pings to Mumbai is generally bad for most of East India as per my findings. Could be a case of peering issues also for Airtel in certain cases.

One thing I forgot to mention earlier that Airtel Fiber home connection (FTTH) cable quality is way better compared to Jio Fiber FTTH cable. JioFiber cable is very thin that the fiber inside can easily break when it's bent. Airtel has provided good protective layers outside so it helps.

For comparison you can refer to the pics below.

Yeah, even my local ISP as well as RailWire have better cable quality than Jio's.

Sundirect go sd channel quality is far better than airtel iptv sd channel quality.
Is Sun direct go app streams channels from internet or satellite? If 50 and above size tv viewers have broadband services, then go for digital feed from internet over dth/iptv from satellite feed for SD channels. Airtel in particular is very bad for SD channels due to higher compression with limited bandwidth of 2 to 3 mbps

Sundirect go uses satellite streams for all channels including colors channels except star channels. And they provide uncompressed quality for both sd and hd channels from satellite feed. So if anyone have sundirect dth in some other place but want to watch TV over other place can go with sundirect go. Android tv app also provides live tv unlike other providers who doesn't provide live tv for android tv app.
