I found that a non-standard practice was followed with the patch box/face plate cabling with your connection. The technician seem to have cut the patch cord and directly jointed the fiber cable inside. Generally local cable operators connect it this way but Airtel & Jio connect it using a connector and patch cord can be connected/detached from outside the patch box.Fiber to ONT Setup:
The fiber line comes in through a small fiber converter box. The setup was clean and professionally done.

I found this distinction only when I noticed the yellow tape attaching both the outside fiber cable and patch cable near the patch box and router.

Connectivity/quality wise it should not make any difference but it makes maintenance (like cleaning the area or shifting of ONT) a bit tedious as the patch cable can not be removed from one side.
This is from my connection, connected via the regular connector method.
