I am also unsatisfied Airtel postpaid customer, in 399 plan. Will shift to some other operator very soon

Recently visited an Airtel Store to get a prepaid number but they said that only postpaid connections are given initially, you can change to PREPAID after 1 month. I put a complaint on twitter and mentioned the store name. Got a call from Store's manager immediately, confirming that prepaid connection will be given without any issue. I dont like this Hypocrite treatment of customers by Airtel Staff

This is same for all from atleast last few years. So moral of the story is store are for postpaid and local shop beside your home is for prepaid

Planned to take a postpaid, and decided to go with Airtel 499. Currently, I have Jio 199, and in my experience when connectivity is there, JIO is hassle-free(I live in Bengaluru now and travel a lot between Cochin and Bengaluru. But if you need any after sales support, that too technical, you are screwed. No proper assistance will be offered. So booked Airtel 499 online, the agent called me and confirmed the address, appointment slot etc. Its been almost 1 week I'm waiting for the sim. Thanks, @Dipjyoti Roy for this thread. I dropped my plan and thank god I didn't opt for porting. If sales experience is like this, I can simply imagine how the after support will be.

Getting a sim and using it involves lot of technical issues bro. I had a pretty bad experience with Jio. All of a sudden in the night when you are travelling, no outgoing calls work. Internet speed gets throttled due to promotion pack addition, No outgoing calls to BSNL network including landline etc. In each incidents support was pathetic. For me, connectivity is something important and jio isolated me in most cases and even L2 support don't have any idea. If your outgoing simply gets blocked and they say have to wait for 48 hours and again another 48, does it sound good?

Jio Celebrations pack ruined my Postpaid 199. Pathetic Support from Nodal as well.

I don't want that life insurance but, Airtel is still sending me those SMS everyday. I received that SMS from 5100 on 24, 25, 26 and 27th May. Today I also got an automated call from airtel regarding the same. They really want me to take that offer. 😡
I am getting calls from Airtel daily regarding the life insurance offer :( :angry2:
DND is active and it's set to block all communications.

Airtel advertisements are no longer counted under DND. It is first of a kind thing any telecom company did!

Their app yet to support it. Only Airtel web selfcare has option to deactivate them.
