@HOUSE-MD bro, I can only complain and hope that they'll fix the issue. I know they're terrible 🙄

Airtel gives me good speed here that's why I'm using it. Most of the time jio gives 512 kbps to 1 or 2 mbps speed.
I've contacted Jio CC several times and this is the reply I got:

Jio has good coverage at my area but, the speed I get is too slow, maybe there are many Jio users around here. 🤷‍♂️

I got BSNL BB after 6 months of applied. That too when I gave karcha pani to local JTO.

Bribe.

I got after 12 months FYI. Had to run atleast 20 times.

This is no joke!

What 6 & 12 month for installation:eek::eek:, for me, they installed on same day & also if i registered complaint in online/offline, they resolved my complaint within 24 hours, btw i'm using bsnl ll connection above 20 years, may be that's reason they giving fast service :blush2:

Do they even know that you use it for that long?

I used them for 11 long years and never received a single good service. Only a few times Freecharge bill payments had cashbacks, those were given back to their lineman back as kharcha pani (bribe) whenever we got wire cuts.

Vodafone idea and airtel are criminals.. they have the terms and conditions.. jio is the only network with true unlimited free calls to any number within india. Vodafone doesnt allow the number stars with 1860....but jio allows. I asked vodafone CC they are telling only landline and mobile numbers are free. Others will be charged.

Yes, telecom operators are fleecing people in many unethical ways. This thread has got people narrating their experiences. Especially, now when we go to convert to prepaid, they make all sorts of excuses (First Recharge is "out of stock" in store) whereas it is all online. (Vodafone)

Also, I asked them (Vodafone), what is the "cheapest" First Recharge, the staff started laughing on me. I was so enraged, I felt like saying- you are looting me in postpaid hence I am converting to prepaid. However, if the store staff starts laughing at you (even maybe for your financial condition), then I am quite surprised at what level of customer service they are giving.

That sounds like horrible customer service. Like they do in other countries, these companies should have some sort of mechanisms to review customer-employee interactions and experiences to reduce incidents like this. I can only imagine that it hurts their bottom line to leave customers feeling insulted. If there is a way to file a legitimate complaint somewhere, I would go for it.

I raised it with Vodafone. By email and by Customer Care on-call as well. But it hardly matters to them. Many times, I have noted that "In-store" and "Online/Phone" channels are completely disconnected with each other and we cannot complain to either for the other.

Only way is to sue them for ridiculing a customer, but then again, is it worth all the effort?

I am silently happy- Used to pay Rs399+GST per month on Postpaid. Now I am on Prepaid and I dont even do Rs 35 recharge every month. Trying to figure out the TRAI rules to ensure number stays active with a max of 90-days non-usage period.

Yes when i joined vodafone network, vodafone mini store told me first recharge shouldbe minimum of 299rs. I said that plan is not at all useful for me, instead i can go for 399 which gives 84 days and 299 which gives 28 days.. why should i waste money... mini store people said that is how rules framed.. i told them,.. better i can be on my old network instead of wasting 299 on first recharge.. then i went to vodafone store.. changed network at zero cost. And the executive told me.. do any recharge value as u wish. He said there is no such conditions. Even 35 is applicable to do. That is how customers gets cheated by few stores to gain profit on first recharge for that particular mini store.

Never faced any issues from airtel till now.Looks like they are treating me as a highly premium customer. :blush2:

They never disturbs me by calling & they are providing quick resolution for my complaints.

I have tweeted in Twitter and they dropped my semi annual pack...super happy now... effective price of new connection is now 196 only!!!

Which DTH can offer😅
Twitter support is the best these days for any company. Even for worse ones like Airtel!😂

I was finally in a situation that i felt Airtel CC can not help me and since it was backend thing store people also couldn't. Then one fine day i accidentally contacted them via Twitter and they for the first time in last 3 years acted like humans with genuine replies without template copy pastes which they do on Email, IVR etc.
