Bharti Airtel to shift registered office from Delhi to Haryana

The company is currently based out of Bharti Crescent at Vasant Kunj in South Delhi. The new registered office of the company currently remains unknown.

Telecom giant Bharti Airtel is all set to shift its registered office from the National Capital Territory of Delhi to the State of Haryana. The company’s board approved the shifting of the registered office of the company on January 7, 2021. The company will consequently alter the Registered Office clause of the Memorandum of Association of the company subject to the approval of the shareholders and the Central Government.

In terms of Regulation 30 of SEBI Listing Regulations, we wish to inform you that the Board of Directors of the Company has, on January 07, 2021 (i.e. today), approved the shifting of Registered Office of the Company from National Capital Territory of Delhi to the State of Haryana and consequential alteration of the Registered Office clause of the Memorandum of Association of the Company, subject to the approval of shareholders by way of postal ballot and approval of Central Government (power delegated to the Regional Director) and/ or any other appropriate authority(ies) as may be necessary,” said Bharti Airtel in a BSE filling.

The company is currently based out of Bharti Crescent at Vasant Kunj in South Delhi. The new registered office of the company currently remains unknown.

In other news, Bharti Airtel yesterday divested stake in Seynse Technologies Private Limited for cash consideration. The company was held through Bharti Airtel’s wholly owned subsidiary Nettle Infrastructure Investments Limited.

Separately, Airtel and Amazon have tied up to launch Prime Video Mobile Edition range of prepaid plans which come bundled with access to Prime Video.
