Airtel launches Rs 89, Rs 131, and Rs 299 Prime Video Mobile Edition prepaid plans

Telecom giant Bharti Airtel has today strengthened its prepaid portfolio with the launch of the new Prime Video Mobile Edition range of prepaid plans which come bundled with access to Prime Video. The company is launching new plans in tie-up with Amazon which has in a bid to accelerate its efforts to increase access to Prime Video in India has introduced Prime Video Mobile Edition – a mobile-only plan providing SD quality streaming for a single user-created especially for a mobile-first country like India. Prime Video has partnered with Bharti Airtel for the first roll-out of Prime Video Mobile Edition.

Airtel launches Rs 89, Rs 131, and Rs 299 Prime Video Mobile Edition prepaid plans

As part of the launch, Airtel customers on bundled pre-paid packs can avail of a 30-day free trial by simply signing up to Amazon from the Airtel Thanks app using their mobile number. Post the 30-day free trial Airtel customers can continue to enjoy Prime Video Mobile Edition through pre-paid recharges starting at an introductory offer of Rs 89.

Airtel’s Rs 89 Prime Video Mobile Edition plan offers 28 days free trial of Prime Video Mobile Edition for unlimited entertainment. The prepaid plan also offers 6GB of high-speed data with validity till the current pack lasts.

Airtel’s Rs 131 Prime Video Mobile Edition plan offers 30 days of Amazon Prime subscription along with 100MB high-speed data with validity till the current pack lasts. This plan offers a complete Prime Video experience including multi-tier access, streaming across multiple devices including Smart TV, and the ability to enjoy content in HD/UHD along with ad-free music with Prime Music and free fast shipping on Amazon India.

Airtel’s Rs 299 Prime Video Mobile Edition plan offers 28 days of Prime Video Mobile Edition along with 1.5GB high-speed data, unlimited calling, and 100 per day along with a validity of 28 days.

The recharges will be available on the Airtel Thanks app or at over a millon recharge points across the country.

For the unversed, before today and after the tariff hike in December 2019 Airtel only offered Amazon Prime subscription to prepaid mobility users through its Rs 349 prepaid plan. The introduction of the new offerings strengthens its prepaid mobility offerings which offer access to Amazon Prime Video.
