Asus is set to launch the Asus ROG Phone 3 in India on July 22 via an online event. The event will start on July 22 at 8:15 PM IST and can be streamed live on the Asus India’s YouTube channel. E-commerce website Flipkart has added a dedicated teaser page for the Rog Phone 3. Apart from India, the phone will also launch in the US and European markets.
Asus ROG Phone 3 specifications
Asus already confirmed that the Asus Rog Phone 3 smartphone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chipset. Other than that, the company hasn’t revealed any specifications details. However, as per the TENAA listing, the smartphone will feature a 6.59-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR 10+ support. Reportedly, the phone will come in 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB RAM variants along with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB internal storage.
The phone is tipped to come with a triple rear camera setup with 64 MP primary sensor and 13 MP ultrawide. For taking selfies, the phone might come with a 13 MP camera. Asus ROG phone 3 is likely to come with a 5800mAh battery that will support 30W fast charging technology. The phone will run Android 10 OS out of the box.
Connectivity options will be included are dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ad/6, Bluetooth 5.1, 4G VoLTE, 5G SA/NSA, 3.5mm audio port, and USB Type-C port. Sensors will be included are proximity, compass, gyroscope, and accelerometer. Asus ROG Phone 3 will measure 171 x 78 x 9.85mm and weighs 240 grams.
