Amazon launches Fire TV Stick Lite (2022) with Alexa Voice Remote Lite in India

Amazon has launched the Fire TV Stick Lite (2022) with Alexa Voice Remote Lite in India. While the Fire TV Stick is identical to its predecessor, the Alexa Voice Remote has been upgraded with new buttons and functionalities. 

Fire TV Stick Lite (2020) with the new Alexa Voice Remote Lite was introduced in India by Amazon almost a year-and-a-half ago in September 2020. This older model is now being sold on Amazon at Rs 2,499. 

Specifications

The Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite comes with 8GB of internal storage and is powered by a Quad-core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz. It has dual-band WiFi support, dual-antenna WiFi (MIMO) and Bluetooth 5.0. It offers Full-HD streaming with support for HDR technology.

The new Alexa Voice Remote Lite 2022 is very different from the 2020 model. It features dedicated buttons to quickly launch Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and Amazon Music. It also has a shortcut to view all installed apps on the Fire TV Stick Lite.

Users can access Alexa using the voice button and control their TV with their voice. In the box, you will get Fire TV Stick Lite, Alexa Voice Remote Lite, USB cable, power adapter, HDMI extender and 2 AAA Alkaline batteries. It comes with a 1-year warranty.

Fire TV Stick Lite (2022) with Alexa Voice Remote Lite is available to purchase via Amazon India for Rs 2,999. The older 2020 model was also launched with a Rs 2,999 price tag but now it can be purchased at a discounted rate of Rs 2,499.
