Xiaomi to launch Mi TV Horizon Edition in India on September 7

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Mi TV Horizon Edition in India on September 7, 2020. According to a dedicated microsite, the TV will feature a bezel-less design, and it is likely to run Android TV OS with the Xiaomi’s Patchwall launcher. The TV will also come with a Quick Wake feature and quintessential display tech.

Xiaomi India has also posted a teaser about the launch of the Mi TV Horizon Editon on its official twitter handle. The tweet reads, “What have we got in store for you next? Immersive. Work Of Art. #HorizonEdition coming on 07.09.2020. Drop your guess in comments. Know more – https://bit.ly/3la4JOp”

The upcoming Mi TV is said to offer access to over 5000 apps, including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Jio Cinema, Disney+ Hotstar, and Zee5, via Google Play Store. Mi TV Horizon Edition is the Xiaomi’s second product under the ‘Horizon Edition’ branding. In June 2020, the company launched the Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition in the country.
