Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is expected to launch Redmi 9 this month. However, ahead of its official launch, the phone has been listed on Aliexpress and Lazada.
As per the listing on Aliexpress, the Xiaomi Redmi 9 is priced at 10,659 Rubles (around Rs 11,000) for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, while the top variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at 13,964 Rubles (around Rs 15,000).
Redmi 9 specifications
According to the listing, Redmi 9 features a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) 20:9 aspect ratio IPS display with a waterdrop notch. The phone is said to be powered by Mediatek Helio G80 (12 nm) chipset paired with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The phone will also come with a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The Redmi 9 will sport a quad-rear camera setup of 13 MP f/2.2 primary camera, 8 MP f/2.2 118-degree ultrawide angle lens, 5 MP f/2.4 macro, and 5 MP f/2.4 depth sensor. For selfies, the phone is tipped to have an 8 MP camera on the waternotch display. The phone will be fueled by a non-removable 5020 mAh battery that will support 18W fast charging technology.
Connectivity options will be included are dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, infrared port, 3.5mm audio port, and USB Type-C port. The phone will be equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, and proximity.
