Xiaomi has unveiled its Mi Band 7 smart band in its home market of China. It is a successor to the Mi Band 6 which was launched on August 27 last year. This new wearable supports NFC and bears an identical design to its predecessor.
Specifications
The Mi Band 7 features a 1.62-inch AMOLED display with an oval dial, 192 x 490 pixels resolution, 326PPI pixel density, 500nits of peak brightness and an always-on display mode. It also supports dynamic wallpaper.
The dynamic Mars wallpaper is similar to what’s available on MIUI 13 phones. It comes with 120+ sports modes including four professional sports modes with activity tracking, data analysis, and more. For voice commands, there is Xiao AI assistant.
In terms of sensors, this smart band is equipped with a SpO2 sensor that alerts users if the blood oxygen level goes below 90%, stress monitoring, heart rate tracker, female health tracking, and PAI(Personal Activity Intelligence).
It is also capable of sleep tracking support with detailed data including the sleep breathing quality, nap time, and REM details. It comes with built-in GPS and optional Near-field communication (NFC).
The wearable packs a 180mAh battery and supports magnetic charging. It runs on Zepp OS out of the box and supports connectivity with devices operating on Android 6.0/ iOS 10 and above.
Pricing and Availability
The Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Xiaomi Band 7 is priced at CNY 249 (around Rs. 2,895) for the non-NFC variant and CNY 299 (around Rs. 3,475) for the NFC option. It is available in Black, Blue, Green, Orange, Pink and White colour options. It is up for pre-orders in China and the sale will start on May 31.
