Xiaomi has announced the Mi Boost Pro Power Bank with a 30,000mAh battery in India. The power bank features smart power management, 16-layer advanced chip protection, 18W fast charging technology, and can charge up to three devices simultaneously. Mi Boost Pro Power Bank has been launched as a crowdfunding project and customers can show support by pre-booking the power bank.
Mi Boost Pro Power Bank specifications
Mi Boost Pro Power Bank comes with two USB Type-A and one USB Type-C port. The USB Type-C features power delivery 3.0 technology and supports Type-C to Type-C charging, and can be used to charge the power bank as well. There is also a micro-USB input port. The power bank takes around 10 hours to fully charge with an 18W charger and with a 24W charger it can charge in around 7.5 hours.
Mi Boost Pro Power Bank comes with 16-layer advanced chip protection, including output short-circuit protection, input over-voltage protection, battery overcharge and discharge protection, input under-voltage protection, and electrostatic protection. There is also a smart power management feature that allows users to charge low-power devices such as wireless headphones and smart bands. Users need to press the power button twice to enable the low power mode and the device will enter a 2-hour low charging mode.
Lastly, the power bank measures 154.5 x 72.3 x 38.9 mm and weighs 640 grams.
Pricing and availability
Mi Boost Pro Power Bank is currently available for pre-booking at a crowdfunding price of Rs. 1,999 in India. The company will start shipping the power bank from 15th May. It comes in a Single Black color option. After the crowdfunding, it will be available for Rs. 3,499.
