Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has launched its new premium mid-range flagship smartphone Xiaomi 11T Pro in India after its global debut in September last year. This is the successor to the Xiaomi 10T Pro and is touted to be the first smartphone tested to demonstrate the country’s first 5G carrier aggregation with Airtel in Mumbai.

The Xiaomi 11T Pro comes with a 6.67-inch full-HD+ 10-bit true-colour flat AMOLED display with 1,080 x 2,400 pixels resolution, 120Hz dynamic refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 480Hz touch sampling rate and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. It has Dolby Vision support and is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card. There is also support for 3GB virtual RAM expansion.
In terms of photography, this device has a triple camera setup on the back that includes a 108MP Samsung HM2 primary sensor, an 8MP 119-degree ultra-wide-angle lens with a Sony IMX355 sensor, and an 8MP telemacro lens. The main camera can record up to 8K video HDR10+. On the front side, a 16MP snapper is there for selfies and video chats.
The device runs on MIUI 12.5 custom skin based on Android 11. It has dual speakers tuned by Harmon Kardon and comes with Dolby Atmos. The fingerprint sensor is side-mounted. There is a 5,000mAh dual-cell battery with 120W HyperCharge fast wired charging. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS/ NavIC, NFC, Infrared (IR) blaster, and a USB Type-C port.
Pricing and Availability
The Xiaomi 11T Pro is priced at Rs. 39,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB storage option, the 8GB + 256GB variant will cost Rs. 41,999 and the top model having 12GB + 256GB storage configuration comes with a price tag of Rs. 43,999.
It is available to purchase in Celestial Magic, Meteorite Gray, and Moonlight White colours through Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, Mi Studios, and other offline retail stores. There are some introductory launch offers as well including Rs. 5,000 instant discount for buyers using Citi cards and EMI options, along with an additional Rs. 5,000 exchange discount.
