Vu Televisions on Wednesday has launched four new Vu Ultra 4K Android Smart TV models in India. The new TV models come in 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch display sizes. The Vu Ultra 4K TV features a bezel-less design with titanium grey aesthetics.
Vu Ultra 4K TV series specifications
Vu Ultra 4K TV series sports 3840 x 2160 resolution Direct LED (DLED) display with brightness up to 400 nits. The display supports HDR 10, Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG), and Dolby Vision. The TV also comes with PC mode that makes the text more legible and Gamer mode that reduces the input lag while gaming. Picture mode supported are dynamic, standard, natural, game, cricket, cinema, and calibrated. Users can also adjust the color temperature, control or calibrate gamma, noise reductions, and other technical features using the Pro Picture Calibration tool.
Vu Ultra 4K TV series comes with built-in Dolby Digital Plus audio and DTS Virtual X Surround sound technologies. The 43-inch Vu Ultra 4K TV is equipped with two 12W speakers, while the 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch models are equipped with two 15W speakers. Audio mode supported are standard, theater, sports, music, speech, and late night.
The TV is powered by a 64-bit quad-core chipset paired with Mali470MP GPU, 2GB RAM, and 16GB internal storage. The TV runs Android Pie (9.0) OS out of the box and comes preloaded with Netflix, Prime Video, Hotstar, YouTube, and Google Play Store. The TV comes with a Vu ActiVoice remote that has dedicated hotkeys for OTT apps and users can also use voice commands to control the TV.
Connectivity options included are dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Chromecast, Bluetooth 5.0, three HDMI ports with CEC & ARC support, two USB ports, 3.5mm audio port, optical audio output, one AV input, and one ethernet port.
Pricing and availability
The Vu Ultra 4K TV 43-inch (43UT) model is priced at Rs. 25,999, while the 50-inch (50UT) model is priced at Rs. 28,999. The 55-inch (55UT) model is priced at Rs. 32,999, and the top model (65UT) with the 65-inch display size is priced at Rs. 48,999. All these TV models are available to purchase via Amazon India website and will be available via offline retailers soon.
