More than four weeks after Vodafone Watch launched in Mumbai, Delhi, and Gujarat initially the service has now gone live in another circle expanding its presence to 5 telecom circles.
Vodafone had more than a week ago introduced the service in Punjab for its Vodafone customers. The service has now gone live in Maharashtra & Goa circle allowing Vodafone customers in the state to access Vodafone’s Apple Watch Cellular service.
Vodafone’s dedicated microsite for Apple Watch Cellular service now states that the service is live in Maharashtra and Goa along with 4 other circles. The eligibility criteria on Vodafone website reads, “Vodafone postpaid customer from Mumbai, Delhi, Gujarat, Punjab, Maharashtra and Goa..“
Vodafone had at the time of launch stated that the availability would be ramped up in coming weeks, however a month down the lane it has only been expanded to two new circles.
Vodafone Postpaid users can use the service to make their Apple Watch make and receive calls and use data on the Vodafone network. The Apple Watch feature is free with all Vodafone RED postpaid plans with Apple Watch Series 3 or later (GPS+Cellular) and iPhone 6s or later model needed.
