Vi (formerly Vodafone Idea) has seemingly increased the price of its entry-level family postpaid plans with the listings on the website of the telecom service provided showing the revised price of family postpaid plans for UP East circle. Unlike earlier wherein, one could order the family postpaid plans from the website itself the same is now seemingly only available offline at Vi Stores.
Vi earlier offered 5 individual postpaid plans at Rs 299, Rs 699, Rs 499, Rs 399, and Rs 1099 while on the family postpaid plans front it offered 4 family postpaid plans at Rs 598, Rs 749, Rs 899, and Rs 999. Apart from this, it offers various add-ons for Vi RED postpaid customers.
According to the listings on the MyVi website, the two entry-level Vi Family postpaid plans at Rs 598 and Rs 749 have got a price hike of around Rs 50 each increasing the monthly rental of both the plans in UP East. Vi’s Family S pack is now priced at Rs 649 while the Family M pack is priced at Rs 799.
Vi’s Rs 649 Family S pack offers 80GB monthly data, 200GB data rollover, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per month on the calling and data benefits front. The postpaid plan allows 2 connections with 50GB data for primary user and 30GB data for secondary users. The data rollover for the primary user is 200GB while the secondary user is 50GB while both the users get 100 SMS per month each.
Apart from this on the non-teleco benefits side, the primary user gets access to ZEE5 Premium, Amazon Prime, and Vi Movies and TV while the secondary user only gets access to Vi Movies and TV.
Vi’s Rs 799 Family M pack offers 120GB monthly data, 200GB data rollover, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per month on the calling and data benefits front. The postpaid plan allows 3 connections with 60GB data for primary user and 30GB data for secondary user. The data rollover for the primary user is 200GB while the secondary user is 50GB while both the users get 100 SMS per month each.
Apart from this on the non-teleco benefits side, the primary user gets access to ZEE5 Premium, Amazon Prime, and Vi Movies and TV while the secondary user only gets access to Vi Movies and TV. The price hike is limited to UP East for the time-being with rest circles having the same old price.
