Vi (formerly Vodafone Idea) has launched a new Rs 148 prepaid plan strengthening its prepaid portfolio with the introduction of the new plan. The newly introduced prepaid plan is currently only limited to Gujarat circle wherein Vi continues to offer Rs 149 prepaid plan as well.
Vi’s Rs 148 prepaid plan offers truly unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls to all networks, 100 local and national SMS per day, along with 1GB high-speed data per day. The prepaid plan comes with a validity of 18 days.
Vi’s unlimited prepaid offerings in Gujarat start at Rs 19 followed next by the Rs 99 prepaid plan which has been introduced in Gujarat circle on 10th November 2020 according to regulatory filings. Up next is the newly introduced Rs 148 prepaid plan exclusively for Gujarat followed by the Rs 149 prepaid plan.
The prepaid plan offers only teleco benefits and doesn’t offer any non-teleco benefits such as access to Vi Movies and TV and additional benefits such as assured bonus cash on MPL or flat discount on Zomato. The prepaid plan is neither eligible for Vi’s recently rolled out Vi Weekend Data Rollover benefit.
