Telecom Industry AGR rises by 3.58% in QE Sep-20
The AGR rose from Rs 44,128 crore in QE Jun-20 to Rs 45,707 crore in QE Sep-20 hitting a 9 month high with 22.41 Y-o-Y growth.

The telecom industry’s adjusted gross revenue (AGR) after dragging by 1.81% in QE Jun-20 rose by 3.58% in QE Sep-20. The AGR rose from Rs 44,128 crore in QE Jun-20 to Rs 45,707 crore in QE Sep-20 hitting a 9 month high with 22.41 Y-o-Y growth.

Reliance Jio’s AGR increased from Rs 15259.91 crore in QE Jun-20 to Rs 15915.14 crore in QE Sep-20 seeing a 4.29% Q-o-Q growth. Bharti Airtel’s AGR increased from Rs 10088.46 crore in QE Jun-20 to Rs 10764.9 crore in QE Sep-20.
Vodafone Idea’s AGR increased from Rs 5865.36 crore in QE Jun-20 to Rs 6435.76 crore in QE Sep-20. BSNL’s AGR increased from Rs 2140.4 crore in QE Jun-20 to Rs 2185.39 crore in QE Sep-20. MTNL’s AGR increased from Rs 337.04 crore in QE Jun-20 to Rs 364.74 crore in QE Sep-20.

The license fee and spectrum usage charges (SUC) rose as well after dragging in QE Jun-20. The license fee rose from Rs 3,526 crore in QE Jun-20 to Rs 3,656 crore to QE Sep-20. The spectrum usage charges (SUC) rose from Rs 1,369 crore in QE Jun-20 to Rs 1,451 crore in QE Sep-20.
