“With one simple tap, you can start creating Snaps and Stories, or more polished Spotlight videos, with double the perspective. Dual Camera is a creative way for our community to capture exciting moments while being part of the memory – like rocking out at a music festival or everyday moments like your culinary adventures in the kitchen,” said Snapchat in a blog post.

To use the Dual Camera feature, open the camera screen on the Snapchat app. Then tap the Dual Camera icon in the camera toolbar. Lastly, take a Snap or try different layouts before taking a Snap. There is also a flip camera button that changes what camera is the primary view and the secondary view. The feature comes with vertical, horizontal, picture-in-picture, and cutout layouts. Users can also add Snapchat creative tools, including music, stickers, and lenses.

The dual Camera feature is currently available for iPhones, including iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone SE, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. It will be available for Android users in the coming months.
